Wynona Ridgeway

Wynona Lee Ridgeway, 86, of Bridgman passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at her home in the care of her family.

Funeral services will be held 10 AM Monday, February 2, 2009 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman with Reverend Terrell Schneider officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 2-4 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Ridgeway was born July 18, 1922 in Fleming, Kentucky the daughter of the late Frances and Margaret (Sturgill) Everman. On July 18, 1941 she married Charles E. Ridgeway and he preceded her in death December 14, 2004. Wynona worked for Bridgman Public Schools in the Library, Bus Route Planning, and as a Lunchroom Aide.

Survivors include her children – Charles “Buck” (Mary Ann) Ridgeway of Beaver Island and Margaret (Marvin) Miller of Benton Harbor; two grandsons – Charles (Danine) Ridgeway III and Robert (Lisa) Ridgeway; four great grandchildren – Emily, Cecilia, Tyler, and Brock; and a sister, Eileen Dwyer of Greenfield, Ohio.

Wynona was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
