Wilma Mabry

Wilma Arlene Mabry, 94 of Bridgman passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Jordan’s Life Care Center, Bridgman.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 9650 N. Church Street, Bridgman with Reverend Jon Bendewald officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Friends may meet with the family from 5-7 PM Friday at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church or the Bridgman American Legion Post 331 Auxiliary.

Wilma was born March 27, 1918 in Three Oaks, Michigan the daughter of Thomas and Lucy (Aber) Payne. On July 21, 1938 she married Leslie R. Mabry, Sr. and he preceded her in death on April 7, 1983. She was a faithful member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Bridgman and the Bridgman American Legions Post 331 Auxiliary.

Survivors include her children - Patricia Nemitz, Myron (Marion) Mabry, David (Mary) Mabry and Roland Mabry all of Bridgman; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; two sisters Lucy Mabry of Galien and Zimmah Fox of Three Oaks.

Wilma was also preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters and a son-in-law, Gordon Nemitz.
