Willis B. Por, 91, of Baroda passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.
Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Thursday, March 22, 2018 at The Boyd Chapel of Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family at 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be in Ruggles Cemetery in Baroda. Memorial contributions may be given towards Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517 or the Baroda American Legion Post #345, 9214 First Street, Baroda, MI 49101.
Willie was born October 28, 1926 in Holland, Michigan the son of the late William and Bessie Por. He was a machinist at Paramount Die Casting and helped around Nyes Auto Tech and Tire in Baroda. Willie served in the U.S. Navy, and served in the Korean Conflict and WWII. He was a member of the Baroda American Legion post #345.
Survivors include his daughter Debra (Norman) Slavens; three grandchildren; and a sister Grace Dozeman.
Willie was also proceeded in death by two daughters: Linda Anderson and Diane Por and four brothers and sisters.
