William Yore, Sr.

William A. Yore, Sr., 86 of Coloma, formerly of Stevensville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, May 17, 2019 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at The Chapel, 4250 Washington Ave., St. Joseph, with Pastor Phil Bubar officiating. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at church.  Memorial contributions may be made to The Chapel. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.

Bill was born July 25, 1932 in Benton Harbor the son of the late William L. and Hilda (Dumdie) Yore. On May 1, 1981 he married Janice Jones and they shared 38 years together. Bill was a faithful member  of The Chapel, he retired from Whirlpool Corporation and had previously served as a Police Officer for the St. Joseph Police Department.

Survivors include his wife, Jan; children, Deborah Williamsen, William Yore Jr, Cathleen Woodrick, Peg (Ron) Farac, Christine (Mike) Screes, Julie McWilliams, Theresa Yore, Marie(Brian) Jeungling, Robert (Lori) Palmer, Sarah (Aaron) Yore-VanOosterhout, and Rebecca Yore; former wife, Wyn Yore; 24 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren

Bill was also preceded in death by his sons Kevin and Michael Yore, sons-in-law Steve Woodrick and Christopher Williamsen, and granddaughter Heather Williamsen.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, the Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
