William “Wilbur” Charles Schlutt, 78, of Baroda passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024 at his home.
A graveside service with military rites will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Ruggles Cemetery, 8530 Stevensville-Baroda Rd., Baroda with Rev. Christopher Noffke officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to Zion United Church of Christ, PO Box 10, Baroda, MI 49101. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.
Wilbur was born on April 15, 1946 in Buchanan the son of the late Nelson and Rose (Wagner) Schlutt. On July 16, 1966 he married the former Sharon Maddux. Wilbur was a farmer by trade and had served in the US Army. He was a member of the Baroda American Legion Post 345. Wilbur loved to fish and play Euchre. He was a loyal Packers fan and enjoyed a good beer.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Sharon; their son, Matthew Schlutt; and brother, Robert (Joyce) Schlutt.
Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
