William Hodgkinson, Jr

William Lane Hodgkinson, Jr., 73 of Buchanan passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at West Woods of Bridgman.

Cremation will take place and private family services will be held.

Bill was born April 17, 1941 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania the son of the late William and Thelma (Funk) Hodgkinson, Sr. On March 25, 1961 he married Nancy Jane Heaton. He was a US Navy veteran and retired from Whirlpool. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the out-of-doors.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Nancy; children - Regina (John Williams) Hodgkinson of Benton Harbor, William “Bill” Lane Hodgkinson III of Hartford and Kelly (Tim) Russell of Buchanan; grandchildren, Abbey Russell, Jessica (Justin Greco) Dinges, Jake (Stephanie) Russell, Vanessa (Brian) Deuel and Mark Dinges II; great grandchildren, Landon and Aubree Deuel, Ayden Dinges and Adalyn Russell; a sister, Mary Jane Hixson of Florida and a brother, Roy (Vicki) Hodgkinson of North Carolina; and many neices and nephews.
