William Gavac

William Joseph Gavac, 81, of Sawyer, MI, died peacefully on Monday, September 20, 2010 following a brief illness. Visitation will be Thursday, September 23 from 9:00 AM to 12 Noon EST at Pike Funeral Home, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman, MI, concluding with a Memorial Service.

Bill Gavac was born October 10, 1928 in Chicago, where he and brother Martin were lovingly raised by mother Josephine Gavac. Bill worked his entire career on Press OK for R. R. Donneley & Sons Printing Company in Chicago.

He is survived by his devoted wife Elaine (Boska) Gavac, sons William and Tom, daughters Jean (Roger) Rosen and Nancy Mosna, grandchildren Chris and Peter Rosen, Deanna and Jillena Mosna and brother Martin.
