Waltraud Jones

Waltraud Jones, 71 of Bridgman passed away on Wednesday, February 17 2021, at her home on the care of her family.

A memorial services will be held 2 PM Monday, March 1, 2021, at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman, with the Elder Jacob Hughes officiating.  Friends may meet with the family from 1-2 PM on Monday prior to the service. Waltraud was born August 21, 1949 in Ludwigshafen, Germany the daughter of Munfred and Inge (Bug) Bonkatz. On June 24, 1982 she married Curtis Jones, Sr. and he preceded her in death on October 3, 2020.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and loved to crochet.

Survivors include her children: Tania (Ronald) Hinkle, Tammy (Jerry) Blackmon, Jamie (Timothy) Lauderdale, Curtis Jones, Jr. and Jennifer Jones; 16 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren; her father: Munfred Bonkatz; two sisters: Anita Mittrucker and Doris Bell.

Waltraud was also preceded in death by her mother, Inge Bonkatz.
