Violet Arlene Ott

Violet Arlene Ott, 92 of Bridgman, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Hanson Hospice Center, Stevensville.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman, with Reverend Carl W. Bassett officiating.  Friends may meet with the family from 10 -11 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.  Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Violet was born July 28, 1930 in Bridgman, the daughter of the late Julius and Rose (Sampson) Gast. On July 3, 1948 she married Edward John Ott and he preceded her in death on May 20 2018. Violet enjoyed taking care of her lawn and tending her flowers.

Survivors include her daughter: Pam (Rick) Frederick; grandson: Douglas (Nicole Dunbar) Frederick and a great grandson: Shane Frederick.

She was also preceded in death by her great grandson: Daniel Edward Frederick; and her siblings: Margaret, Gertrude, Betty and Arnold.
