Victoria Wolanin, 101, formerly of Bridgman, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the Care Center of Abingdon in Abingdon, Illinois. Cremation has taken place. Victoria was born on September 22, 1914 in Poland to the late Frank and Antoinette (Szal) Ludzia. She came to the United States in 1923 at the age of nine years. Victoria worked at the Harbert Swedish Bakery for 18 years, and also at the River Valley Senior Center in Harbert. She was also employed for a time at Motorola in Chicago.

Victoria is survived by her son: Richard (Karen) Wolanin of Boyne City, Michigan; four grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

Victoria was also preceded in death by her husband Louis in 1980; her son Gerald in 2015; her brother: Frank; and granddaughters: Marsha and Susan.
