Tyler Nathaniel Haney, 18, of Stevensville passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the University of Michigan Medical Center.
Friends may meet with the family from 5-8 PM Friday, October 29 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman. A private family service will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be given to Animal Aid.
Tyler was born November 23, 1991 in Berrien Center. He was a 2010 graduate of Bridgman High School. Tyler was a shy, kind-hearted young man with a fun-loving spirit and a unique sense of humor. He had a very creative mind. His talents showed musically and artistically. He had a knack for problem solving and a passion for inventing. Tyler enjoyed spending time with his friends, watching movies, football, and playing his guitar.
Survivors include his mother, Carol (John Holm) Haney; three sisters – Kami (Aaron) Matlock of Buchanan, Rebecca (Nathan) Troxell of Baroda, and Chelsie (Tom Shultz) Haney of Stevensville; niece and nephews – Reese and Elly Matlock, and Brennen and Caleb Weaver; extended family and friends, and beloved pet, Kovu.
