Tommy Geisler Sr., 73, of Stevensville passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at his home.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 12, at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 10 - 11 prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice at Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph MI 49085 or Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan, 641 S. Crystal Ave., Benton Harbor MI 49022.
Tommy was born April 23, 1940 in Berrien Springs the son of the late Milton and Martha (Reitz) Geisler. He married Sharon Paulstiene on June 18, 1960 and together they shared 53 years of life and love together. Tommy was a US Navy veteran and a member of the Baroda American Legion Post 345. He was a self employed flooring contractor were he owned and operated Tom’s Tile Service in Stevensville. Tommy was a member of the Goldwing Road Riders Association, Chapter S, Benton Harbor. Together with his wife Sharon, they loved the open road and enjoyed many miles together traveling on their Goldwing.
Survivors include his wife Sharon; two sons - Michael (Sheryl) Geisler of Fennville and Tommy Geisler, Jr. of Stevensville; grandchildren - Ashley Geisler of Chesterton, IN, Jennifer (Jordan) Woodrick of Bridgman, Jeremy McKie of Stevensville and Amanda Schmalfeldt of Fennville; great grandchildren - Brantley, Dylan, Gage, Landen, Joshua and Tatum; sister - Sue Geisler of Niles and a brother, William (Barbara) Geisler of New Buffalo.
Tommy was also preceded in death by three brothers - Jim, Donald and Milton “Sonny” Geisler and a sister, Anna Mae Fetke.
