Thomas Lyle Mutart, 60, of Benton Harbor went to be with his Lord and Savior following a brief battle with cancer on Monday, November 11, 2013 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 16, 2013 at First Assembly of God Church, 3084 Niles Road, St. Joseph. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 5 - 8 PM Friday at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be given towards the needs of the family.
Thomas was born August 23, 1953 in South Bend, Indiana the son of the late Henry Arthur and Rowena (Anderson) Mutart. Tom was a faithful member of the First Assembly of God in St. Joseph. He was a motorcycle enthusiast.Tom was extremely generous to people less fortunate. He retired from Robert Bosch in St. Joseph.
Survivors include sisters - Bernice Zeilke of Bridgman and Janet Ard of Harvielo, MO; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Tom was also preceded in death by two sisters Jewel Surch and Linda Blevins.
