Therese Mary Clement, 81, of Bridgman, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Manistee County Medical Care Facility.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM Wednesday, Sept. 28, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 3903 Lake Street, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 PM on Tuesday at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Our Lady Queen of Peace Food Pantry or Berrien County Cancer Service. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.
Therese was born Sept. 27, 1929 in Hammond, Indiana the daughter of the late John and Lucille Hoffman. She was a Registered Nurse and had worked for Cedar Lake Medical Clinic, Indiana, Mercy Hospital, Benton Harbor and the Berrien County Health Department. On September 2, 1950 she married Laurence Arthur Clement and he preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 2007.

Survivors include four children – Carol (Charles) Peters-Stinnett of Lake Station, Indiana, Chere (David) Ohman of Manistee, Michigan, Steven (Cathy) Clement of Cedar Lake, Indiana, and Cathy (David M.) Lovas of Buchanan; eight grandchildren – Dawn (Tony) Lara, Christopher Peters, Kiely Ohman, Kyle Ohman, Lon (Ron) Winsauer, Jason Clement, Matt Clement and Kim Clement; and two great grandsons, Robin Winsauer and Johnny Peters.

Therese was also preceded in death by a great grandson, Matthew Peters and two sisters, Patricia Estes and Phyllis Marantette and a son-in-law, Richard Peters.
