Theodore James Lesauskis, 74, of Bridgman passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 9650 Church Street, Bridgman, with Pastor Carl Bassett, officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 5-7 PM on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be made to Bridgman American Legion, Post 331, PO Box 67 or American Lung Association, 55 W. Ted was born on August 31, 1948 in Chicago, the son of the late Teofil and Laura (Herzog) Lesauskis. On February 3, 1968 he married his high school sweetheart Jill Ott and they shared 55 years together. Ted served in the Army during the Vietnam War, serving in Korea. He was an avid golfer and taught his grandsons how to golf. Ted was also a little league coach to many. He also enjoyed deer hunting, spending time at his cabin in Manistee and going to Arizona for the winters. Spending time with his family and friends was very important to him.
Survivors include his wife: Jill; daughter: Tracy (Brian) Blanchette; grandchildren: Tyler Trenton Lesauskis, Jaden Joseph Blanchette; siblings: Dale Lesauskis and Linda (Duane) Rochefort.
Ted was also preceded in death by a son: Trenton Joseph Lesauskis; and a brother: David Lesauskis.
