Teresa “Sis” was born on June 3, 1951 in Niles the daughter of the late Devon and Charlotte (Drone) Johnson. On May 8, 1971 she married Rudy Piller. She was a Pampered Chef consultant and childcare provider, both in her home as well as Immanuel Lutheran Child Care. Sis had a special love of gardening and spent countless hours tending to her many flower gardens. She never missed going to the fair to walk through the buildings and see all the animals, especially the “Wonders of Birth” barn. She happily hauled all of her Pampered Chef goods in to fill her booth, which many people enjoyed over the years. She lovingly crocheted baby blankets, clothing and many other things, including a Christmas stocking for every new son/daughter-in-law or grandchildren she gained. Her home is filled with her many collections including thimbles, angel/fairy figurines and Longaberger. Sis and Rudy most treasured their time spent traveling across the country in their camper simply spending time together and creating cherished memories. They enjoyed the Bridge Walk every year on Labor Day, too. She cherished and loved her family, but her grandchildren, most of all. Sis touched many lives and will be missed.
Sis is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Rudy; five children: Sarah (Brent) Bedau, Seth (Julie) Piller, Zachariah Piller, Rachel Irish, and Ezra (Liza) Piller; seven grandchildren: Valorie, Lucas, Anna, Isaac, Ian, Carter and William; her sister, Jennifer Johnson; and brother, Tim (Dona) Johnson.
Teresa was also preceded in death by a brother, Devon “Jeff” Johnson.
Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
