Susan Strope

Susan Jane Strope, 59 of Niles passed away at her home on Monday, May 21, 2012.

Cremation will take place and there will be a family graveside service at a later date.

Susan was born October 24, 1952 in Benton Harbor, the daughter of James Patrick Sr. and Jeanette Arlene (Glaske) Sparks. She graduated from River Valley High School and had previously worked at Plastic Masters. Susan was most recently employed at Four Winds Casino. On August 22, 1981 she married Jack H. Strope and he preceded her in death on October 8, 2004.

Survivors include her children - Lisa (Keith) Clark of Niles, Amanda (Dave) Witter of Three Oaks, Ashley (Evan O’Donnell) Strope of LaPorte, IN; seven grandchildren; sisters - Ruthann Sparks of Buchanan and Nancy (Gordon) Miller of Berrien Springs.

Susan was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Daniel and a brother, James P. Sparks, Jr.
