Susan Stokes

Susan Luella Stokes, 89, of Berrien Springs, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman with Reverend Christopher Noffke officiating. Burial will be in Ruggles Cemetery, Baroda. Friends may meet with the family from 10-11 AM at the funeral home on Wednesday.

Susan was born December 5, 1923 in Kell, Illinois the daughter of the late Tilley and Melissa E. (Daniels) Donoho. Susan worked as a machine operator at Modern Plastics in Benton Harbor retiring in 1989 after 23 years. She enjoyed reading and especially loved being with her family.

Survivors include her children - Cynthia Stokes of Berrien Springs, Mark (Sharon) Stokes of Coloma; grandchildren - Erin (Laura Davis) Hart, Kendra (Troy) Walter, Jeremy (Meleta) Hart, Justin (Meagan) Stokes; and 13 great grandchildren.

Susan was preceded in death by 13 brothers and sisters.
