Susan Dorman

Susan “Sue” Ellen Dorman, 61, of Stevensville, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2015 at her home.

Sue has been cremated and services will be held privately.

Sue was born July 18, 1954 in St. Joseph, Michigan the daughter of the late George Louis and Shirley Louise (Jones) Burkhard. On April 13, 1984, she married William Eugene Dorman and they shared 31 years together. Sue was the Berrien County Youth Fair Llama barn supervisor; she loved caring for the animals. She retired from the Stevensville Post Office where she had been a clerk for over 20 years.

Survivors include her husband - William Eugene; children: Tony Gardner of Florida, Alex Gardner of Oregon, stepchildren: Adam (Terri) Dorman of Ludington, Troy Dorman of New Troy, Matthew Dorman of Custer, Michigan; 10 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brothers: George Burkhard, John Burkhard, Steve Burkhard, Kevin (Sheri) Burkhard and Jeff (Sandy) Burkhard.

Sue was also preceded in death by a step-daughter Jacqueline Dorman.
