Shirley Mae Wharton

Shirley Mae Wharton, 86, of Stevensville, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Hanson Hospice Center.

A private family graveside service was held at Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.

Shirley was born on March 25, 1938 in Stevensville the daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy (Faye) Gulliver. On August 19, 1955 she married John Wharton and he preceded her in death on January 9, 2002. She enjoyed the casino and spending time with her grand and great grandchildren. Shirley loved the companionship of her dogs and cats.

Survivors include her children: John (Diane Sullivan) Wharton, Susan (Danny) Jensen, Tammy (Scott) Rose, and Lori (John) Turnbow; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.

Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
