Sharon Schmidt

Sharon Jean Schmidt, 66, a long-time resident of Three Oaks passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016 while on vacation in Belize City, Central America.

A memorial service will be held 11 am Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman with Reverend Randy D. Lett officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 10 - 11 am prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to Berrien County Cancer Service, 7301 Red Arrow Hwy, Stevensville, MI 49127. Sharon was born August 25, 1949 in St. Joseph the daughter of Arnold and Wilma (Genetzke) Rennhack. On July 27, 1978 she married David S.. Schmidt. Sharon was employed at Hardings Friendly Markets in Bridgman. She enjoyed stained glass work and reading.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, David; their children: Nicholas (Sherrie) Schmidt of Bridgman, Michelle Schmidt of High Point, NC, Aaron (Candi) Schmidt of Michigan City, IN and Jason (Samantha) Schmidt of Wartburg, TN; grandchildren: Pattrick, Alexia, Cheyenne, Matthew and Brycen; her mother: Wilma Rennhack of New Troy; brothers: David Rennhack of Houston, TX and Steven (Linda) Rennhack of Florida; sisters: Lori (Doug) Grover of Spring Lake, MI and Susan (Steven) Koleski of New Baltimore, MI.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Arnold Rennhack.
