Rudi Eichendorff

Rudi Karl Eichendorff, 88, of Baroda, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville, Michigan with his wife and daughter at his side.

Funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman with Pastor David Londot  officiating. Friends may meet with the family Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Ruggles Cemetery in Baroda. Rudi was born Monday, November 10, 1930 in Oberhausen, Germany, the son of the late Gustav and Emilie(Engler) Eichendorff. He married Ruth Margarete Befuss on April 10, 1954 . Rudi came to Canada in 1951 and then immigrated to The United States in 1958. He attended a Church of God in Canada, Michigan, and Florida for many years.

Rudi is survived by his wife: Ruth; children: Dolly (John) Baird, Rudy J. Eichendorff ; and grandchildren: Jonathan, Christopher, and Kaitlyn Baird.

Rudi was also preceded in death by eight siblings.
