Ronald Kenneth Brandt

Ronald Kenneth Brandt, 83 of Three Oaks passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at his home in the care of his family.

Ron was a graduate of Lake Michigan College and earned an apprenticeship diploma from the Department of Public Instruction as a certified Tool and Die Maker in 1966. He then formed a business in 1970 with his brother, Raymond, called Raco Die and Engineering and Precision Plastics. Then retired in 2008. Ron always said he absolutely loved his job. He was an avid woodworker and created several pieces of furniture in their house. He traveled with his wife across the country. He loved driving his family around in his 1965 Ford Galaxy. He loved his dogs, Daisy, Molly, Domino and Gabby. His absolute favorite thing in the world was to eat chocolate chip cookies with his grandchildren. Ron married his wife, Sara Elizabeth McCort, in October of 1964 and she survives along with a son: Robert and wife, Rebecca, and grandson, Caelen; a daughter: Ann Krieger, and granddaughter Cally Krieger. Ron had two siblings Raymond Brandt (deceased) and Nancy (Brandt) Tucek.
