Roger Valerius

Roger Kenton Valerius, 74, of Hillsdale, MI passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman with Pastor Franz J. Brandenburg officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Friends may meet with the family from 10 - 11 prior to the service at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions may be given to Peace Lutheran Church.

Roger was born August 28, 1937 in Benton Harbor, the son of the late Henry and Alma (Best) Valerius. Roger was an accountant for Hillsdale Tool & Manufacturing Co. After retiring at age 49, he traveled extensively all over the world.

Survivors include his sister Ruth (Paul Klug) Retzke of Bridgman.
