Robert Nitz

Robert Kevin Nitz, 66, of Baroda passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020 at his home.

A funeral service will be held 11 AM Friday, October 2, 2020  at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, the  Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 5-7 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Ruggles Cemetery. Bob was born April 12, 1954  in Benton Harbor the son of  Eldon and Lois (Tollas) Nitz.  On December 31, 1995 he married Carol Ann Marsh. He was a maintenance supervisor at the DC Cook Nuclear Power Plant. Bob was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Baroda American Legion Post 345. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting and golfing.

Survivors include his wife, Carol; his parents: Eldon and Lois Nitz; step-children: Charles Smith, Kevin  (Patricia)  Smith, Megan (Charles) Parkhurst, Ryan (Angela) Smith and Rachel (Mark) Wilkey; five grandchildren; brothers: Michael  (Sandra)  Nitz, Bruce  (Judy)  Nitz, Brian  (Lorrie)  Nitz  and Dale  (Billie)  Nitz.
