Robert Jefferis

Robert Lee Jefferis, 68, of Berrien Springs, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the University of Chicago Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held at 4 PM on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Graceland Cemetery in Bridgman with Pastor Raymond Clark officiating.

Robert was born July 19, 1946 in Benton Harbor, Michigan the son of the late E. Robert and Pearl A. (O’Blenes) Jefferis. Robert was a Vietnam veteran. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and just tinkering. Robert especially loved his family.

Survivors include his daughter: Jennifer Jefferis-Pfister of Berrien Springs; his son: William (Chris) Wilson of Portage, MI; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and one due in July; brother: Kenneth R. Jefferis of Lee’s Summit, MO; sisters: Jeanette P. Jefferis of Carmel, IN, Kathleen L. Debler of Sterling Heights.

Robert was also preceded in death by his wife Colleen in 2012.
