Robert Bormann

BRIDGMAN - Robert Erwin Bormann, 75, of Bridgman passed away on April 28, 2011 at Lakeland Specialty Hospital in Berrien Center.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM Monday, May 2, 2011 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 9650 Church Street, Bridgman with Reverend Jon Bendewald officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Friends may meet with the family on Sunday from 4-8 PM at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church. Robert was born November 28, 1935 in Hinsdale, IL, the son of the late Henry and Louise (Brinkman) Bormann. Bob was a US Army veteran who served in the 23rd Infantry in Panama. He was a member of the Bridgman American Legion Post 331. He owned and operated his own Interior Decorating Company, Bormann Decorating.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Patricia; children - Jamie (Nigel) Weait of FL, Michael Bormann of TN, Jane and Patricia Wehrmeister both of CA; brother - James (Rose) Bormann of FL; sister-in-law - Careen (Bill) Hamman and brother-in-law - Daniel Stocker of FL; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
