Rickey David Coyer, 67, of Bridgman passed away peacefully at his home on June 11, 2021.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, July 31st, 2021 from 2 – 5 PM at Baroda Township Park/Hess Lake Park, 600 W Lemon Creek Rd, Baroda. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.

Rickey was born on November 18, 1953 in Bay City, the son of the late Alton Coyer and Marie Ramey. On September 11, 1982 he married Chum Suk and they shared 38 years together. Rick spent 10 years of service in the US Army prior to continuing his career in food management and working at Coloma Frozen Food Inc for 15 years.  Rick enjoyed fishing, cooking, watching Gun Smoke and cheering on the Chicago Bears.

Rick’s generosity, infectious laugh and his inability to cook for less than an army will be remembered by his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife: Chum Suk; children: Christina (Dustin) Meyer, Christian (Chelsey) Meyer, and Stacy Coyer; grandchildren: Joelan Coyer, Bryson Coyer, and Jaxton Coyer; siblings: Terry (Sandra) Coyer and Darleen McCain.

Rickey was also preceded in death by two brothers, Gary and Wayne Coyer.

Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
