Richard Womeldorf, 49, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at his home.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday, August 6 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman with Pastor Justin Shepard and Rick’s brother Ron officiating. Burial will be in Ruggles Cemetery, Baroda. Friends may meet with the family prior to the service from 1 - 2 PM at the Funeral home. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be given to Berrien County Animal Control or Hospice at Home.

Richard was born October 3, 1961 in Riverside, California the son of James and Catherine (Grant). On September 8, 1984 he married Pamela Baushke and together they shared 26 years. Richard worked at Oil Technology for 19 years as a Supervisor. He enjoyed hunting, hiking in the woods, photography, and his dogs.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela; a daughter - Danielle and a son - Cody both of Baroda; his parents - James and Catherine Womeldorf of Baroda; sister - Tammy (Mark) Philotoff of FL; brothers - James (Janey) Womeldorf of TN., and Ronald (Chris) Womeldorf of WI; and Pam’s family, her parents - Clarke “Hap” and Jean Baushke of Benton Harbor; her brother - Paul (Tonyea) Baushke of FL; and her sister - Lisa (Sam) McCaslin of NV.
