Raymond Arthur Steffes

BRIDGMAN- Raymond Arthur Steffes, 76, of Bridgman went to be with his Lord on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Corewell Health South, St. Joseph

Raymond was born May 22, 1948 in Detroit, the son of the late Raymond and Kathleen (Hitchens) Steffes. He was proud to have served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed driving students to and from school for Berrien RESA and spending time with friends at the American Legion. Ray was most proud of his three children, who are blessed and thankful to have been at his bedside at the time of his passing.

Ray will be lovingly remembered by his children Jason (Stacey) Steffes, Robert (Alison) Steffes and Gretchen (Joshua) Jones; grandchildren: Logan (fiancée, Maylee VonBehren), Andrew, Kaden, Avery, Megan, Peyton and Carson Steffes, Abigail and Sam Jones; sisters: Kathleen Wimsatt and Mary Hewson and a brother, Daniel (Patricia) Steffes.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful and compassionate staff at Corewell Health South and Westwoods of Bridgman Nursing Center.
