Raymond Rohde, Sr

Raymond Jean Rohde Sr., 83, of Bridgman passed away on August 17, 2012 at his home.

A private graveside service will be held at Graceland Cemetery in Bridgman. A public visitation will be held Tuesday, August 21, from 3 - 6 PM at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be made to Charity of your choice.

Raymond was born July 24, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois the son of the late Fred and Audrey (Flowers) Rohde. Raymond retired from Sherwin Williams and was a model railroad enthusiast. Ray was a veteran and served with the United States Marine Corp.

Survivors include his children - Raymond Rohde, Jr. of New Buffalo, Susan (Patrick J.) Manning of Homer Glen, Illinois; grandchildren - Ryan and Collin Manning; and a brother - George (Betty) Rohde of Deltona, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his wife Joan in 2002; a brother Fred Rohde and a sister Nancy Buckman.
