Raye Ingraham

Raye Jeanne Ingraham, beloved wife and mother, mentor, friend, encourager, died in the presence of a loved one, her Lord, and attendants, following cardiac arrest in Bridgman, Michigan.

Raye Jeanne was the second of four children born to Carl and Naomi Pierson in northeast Iowa in 1922. Raye Jeanne married Russ in 1952, and together they built a warm, welcoming home, raising 5 children. Her cheerfulness made their home a place where people loved to be. The much-cherished Moody Church anchored the family’s spiritual life and fellowship. She was deeply honored to be a trustee of Judson College in Elgin, Illinois from 1976-2006.

Raye Jeanne was preceded in death by Russ. She is survived by two sisters, one brother, five children, and 21 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 16 at 12noon at Pike Funeral Home, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman, Michigan, followed by services there at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Three Oaks.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Moody Church, Chicago, Illinois, or Judson University, Elgin, Illinois.
