Paul Zielke

Paul F. Zielke, 92, of Baroda, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 7, 2011.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 13, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Baroda, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. A memorial service celebrating his life, will follow at 11:30 a.m., with Pastor Joan Oleson officiating. Burial will follow at Ruggles Cemetery, Baroda. Family suggests memorials be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church of Baroda, or Hospice at Home, St. Joseph.

Paul was born on February 20, 1919, in Bridgman, MI, to Rhinold & Augusta (Jantz) Zielke. He married Dorothy Hora on September 20, 1941. He was a Parts Manager at Evans Agriculture in Hinchman, MI. Upon retirement, he loved going to his son’s former business, Zielke Towing & Tire, where he loved working and visiting with customers.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy H., a son Kenneth P (Linda) Zielke of Stevensville. One step grandson Shawn (Candace) Randall of Texas. Two step granddaughters, Sydnie & Gianna Randall of Texas, and other family members and friends.

Paul was proceeded in death by his parents, Rhinold & Augusta Zielke; five brothers, John, Albert, August, Richard & Amiel Zielke; four sisters, Olga Mensinger, Huldean Backus, Hattie Schmaltz, and Ann Gaul.
