Memorial contributions may be given to the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan, 5400 Niles Road, St. Joseph, MI 49085 or Hospice at Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.

Paul spent his entire life in New Troy and, like his father and grandfather before him, was a well-known member of the community. Everybody knew Paul and loved listening to his storytelling! Paul loved being outdoors, working on the trails in their woods, fishing, deer hunting, bonfires, snowmobiling, gardening, and raising chickens and pigs. He was very proud to have worked for the Berrien County Road Commission for 21 years. While fighting his battle, one of the things he wanted to do was get well enough to go back to work. His beloved pets, Bear and Boozy, ran the household. Paul cherished his early morning rides looking for deer with Bear. Those rides were a priority for both Paul and Bear.

Paul is survived by the love of his life, Sandi Bowman, who he met when he saved her from an unwanted suitor. They shared 27 years building a beautiful life together, traveling and sharing their love with family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, Sandi, he leaves behind, Stepdaughter, Kori (Jason) Snyder; step granddaughter, Jalyn Snyder; siblings: Christopher (Joy) Miller, Ellen (Michael) Seidler, Elaine (Lonnie) Edgecomb, Amy Miller, Kathryn (James) Poschke, Jennifer Lynn Lockman, Carol (Kirk) Rasmussen, and Mary Miller. He is also survived by nine nephews, 12 nieces, two grand nephews, and four grand nieces.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Zane and Irene (Pfauth) Miller.

Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman, MI 49106.
