Patricia Lee Daniels

Patricia Lee Daniels, 88, of Buchanan passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at her home in the care of her family.

Patti was born on November 28, 1935 in Lansing, Michigan the daughter of the late Albert and Evelyn (Bousfield) Daniels. She was a kindergarten teacher for 25 years and retired as the Deputy Director of the Department of Professional Regulation in Illinois. Patti loved her pets and gardening, reading and painting.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandi Zelkoff; son, Daniel Zelkoff; step daughter, Kelly (Gerald) Gaskin; five grandchildren: Jason (Allie) Ketelaar, Sasha Ketelaar, Ciara, Aiden and Cian Gaskin; three great grandchildren: Lee, Fiona and Greyson Ketelaar; and seven brothers: John, Lee (Pam), William (Stacy), Richard (Anne), Robert, David, and Thomas Daniels.

Patti was also preceded in death by her loving companion of 30 years, Sean Curtin, III; and a grandson, Justin Kreml.
