Narlo Hansen Schiesser

Narlo Hansen Schiesser, 58, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Hanson Hospice Center, Stevensville.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 10 – 11 AM at the funeral home, prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Berrien County Cancer Service, 3900 Hollywood Road. Narlo was born on April 9, 1965 in Curitiba, Parana, Brazil the daughter of the late Nelson and Nadia (Couto) Hansen. Known as “Chef Narlo”, she owned and operated “Savors & Secrets” as a personal chef. Narlo grew up in Lages, Brazil and came to the United States in 2004.

Survivors include her daughter: Maria Pereira; family friend: Ricardo Schiesser; siblings: Daniela Couto Hansen and Fernanda Hansen Nakamae.

Narlo was also preceded in death by her sister Patricia Couto.
