Nancy White

Nancy Laverne White, 73 of Bridgman  passed away  on Monday, February 8, 2021 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on  Monday, February 15, 2021  at Zion United Church of Christ, 9100 Third Street, Baroda, Michigan 49101 with Reverend Calandra Nevenzel officiating. Nancy was born October 1, 1947  in Galien, Michigan the daughter of the late Henry and Doris Marie (Schlutt) Freehling.  On March 18, 1967 she married James A. White who preceded her in death on November 8, 2000. She was employed at Alpha Resources. Nancy was a devoted member of the Zion United Church of Christ, she was a Sunday school teacher and in the ladies fellowship group and provided altar flowers.  Nancy enjoyed christmas decorating for the holidays and was a Chicago Bears & Cubs and Notre Dame fan. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and aunt.

Survivors include her children: Kristin Ann White and Michael Todd White; siblings: Mary (Richard) Whitright, Hope (Jeff) Sinner, David (Rebecca) Freehling; sister-in-law: Karen Harner; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

Nancy was preceded in death by siblings: James Freehling and Barbara Likes, Betty Davis and Margaret Churchill
