Mildred “Jean” Holt, 78, of Bridgman passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Jordan’s Life Care Center in Bridgman.
Cremation has taken place.
Jean was born April 6, 1934 in Blackfoot, Idaho the daughter of the late Edward Leroy and Mary Grace (Colt) Hagen. Jean worked for the Berrien County 5th District Court Civil Division for 30 years. In 2000, she took the trip of a lifetime and traveled Route 66 from Chicago to California. Jean volunteered 15 years at Jordan’s Life Care Center and also gave her time with the Bridgman Girl Scouts Troop 520. Jean was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
Survivors include her children - Adrick L. “Troop” Holt, Jr. of Tuscan, AZ and Tamra “T.K.”(Randy) Brown of Flower Mound, TX; grandchildren - Adrick “Rick” Holt III, Courtney Brown and Carissa Brown; great grandchild - Hunter Holt; brother - Robert Hagen; and sister - Mary Ellis.
Jean was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
