Marion Florene Smith, 78, of Baroda passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at her daughter’s home.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Friday, September 25, 2015 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman with Reverend Kendall M. Holder officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 10 - 11 AM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ruggles Cemetery, Baroda. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085.

Marion was born May 26, 1937 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Clyde and Eva Harding. Marion married Charles “Bud” Smith on October 4, 1954 and he preceded her in death on June 22, 2014. Marion worked at Rambo Nursery for twenty plus years and was a member of the Baroda Church of God.

Survivors include her children: Marion (Edward) Faust of Baroda, Cathy (Allen) Slavens of Bridgman, Charlene Brumley of Berrien Springs; grandchildren: Charlie Smith, Joshua (Kelly) Slavens, Brian (Amanda) Brumley, Mary Brumley; great grandchildren: Bentley Brumley, Skylar Smith, Caitlyn Slavens, Charlie Slavens, Jonathan Brumley, Nevaeh Brumley, Bailey Brumley; siblings: Nancy Smith and Rex Harding both of Bridgman, Al (Carol) Harding, Wanda (Bob) Smith and Martha Dover all of Stevensville.

Marion was also preceded by her siblings, Bud, Ted, Wes, Darlene and Pete.
