Mabel Margaret Ott

Mabel Margaret Ott, 94, of Bridgman passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at her home in the care of her loving family.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 6, 2023 at her church, Faith United Methodist Church, 9156 Red Arrow Hwy. Bridgman, MI 49106, with Pastor Brad Heiple, officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 5-7 PM on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy. Bridgman. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith United Methodist Church or The Humane Society of S.W. Michigan, 5400 S. Niles Rd. St Joseph, MI 49085. Mabel was born on August 31, 1929 in Bridgman, the daughter of the late Louis and Ruth (Truhn) Siemon. Mabel was a member at Bridgman American Legion, Post 331, Ladies Auxiliary and the St. Joe Kicker’s Club. She worked at Bridgman Community Print Shop, Berrien County Court House, Comfort Suites, D.C. Cook Nuclear Plant and was also an election worker for Lake Township. Mabel enjoyed dancing, loved animals, socializing, gardening, baking, going to the casino and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children: Denise (Marc) Ott Snyder, Diane Ott Stegman, Dennis (Karen) Ott, Doreen (Jerry Leach) Schultz, Dawn Ott; grandchildren: Chip Snyder, Cody Snyder, Courtney (Scott) Berkebile, Sierra, Thomas (Chelsie) Schultz, Crystal Triboulet, David Ott, and Kaylee Marcks; great grandchildren: Ellie Berkebile, Tyler Schultz, Grant Schultz, Allegra Triboulet, and Atticus Triboulet; and a sister: Betty Howard.

Mabel was also preceded in death by siblings: Robert Siemon and Beatrice Siemon.
