Lorraine Smith

Lorraine Edith Smith, 82, of Bridgman passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at New Orchard Grove Extended Care Centre in Benton Harbor.

A funeral service will be held 11 AM Friday, November 2, 2012 at Zion United Church of Christ, Baroda, with Reverend Christopher Noffke officiating. Friends may meet with the family prior to the service from 10 - 11 AM at church. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at Home.

Lorraine was born February 25, 1930 in New Troy, Michigan the daughter of the late William and Anna (Nitz) Trapp. She worked in shipping & receiving at LECO until her retirement in 1990.

Survivors include her children - Thomas (Sharon) Smith, Patricia Brown, Lorrie (Jimmy) Ray, Terrence (Janet) Smith; Grandchildren - Shane Ray, Seth(Nikki) Ray, Nathan(Alaina)Smith, Abby(Chris)Coy, Ashley(Randy)Kirk, Shawn Smith, Brandon Smith, Kyle(Angie)Smith, Patrick(Tonya)Smith, Erin Smith, Great Grandchildren - Aidan Coy , Kaitlynn Coy, Brayden Smith, Liliana Smith, Kevin Smith, Lauren Smith, Amber Ray, Wyatt Smith; Sisters - Marie(Ray) Lietz and Shirley(Buddy)Tyler and her Orchard Grove Family.

Lorraine was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Dean Smith in March 2009 and three brothers - Richard, Art and Vic Trapp.
