Lorraine Marie Robbins, 80, of Bridgman passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, January 27 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman with Rev. Christopher Noffke officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be given to Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 100.

Lorraine was born April 20, 1929 in South Bend the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Rubeshaw) Dover. On June 9, 1946 she married Charles Robbins in Three Oaks and he preceded her in death on October 24, 1969.

Survivors include six children – Charles (Georgia) Robbins, Jr. of Nevada, Stanley Robbins of Georgia, Shirley Harding of Buchanan, Deborah (Scotty) Schillinger of Baroda, Jackie (Mark) Pyburn of Stevensville, and John (Gretchen) Robbins of Bridgman; 25 grandchildren; 62 great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Ott of New Troy.

Lorraine was also preceded in death by one grandchild; and nine brothers and sisters.
