Lorraine Reifschneider

Lorraine Evelyn Reifschneider 95, of Baroda passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020 at West Woods of Bridgman, where she received loving care by the staff. She is now at peace in Heaven with her Lord and family members who went before her.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, May 28, 2020 Immanuel Lutheran Church, 9650 Church Street, Bridgman with the Reverend Edward A. Meyer officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 10-11:00 AM Thursday at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in Ruggles Cemetery, Baroda. Lorraine was born February 3, 1925 in Baroda, the daughter of the late Fredrick  and Edith (Gast) Ott. On October 6, 1945 she married Albert Raymond Reifschneider, she was a wonderful homemaker. Albert preceded her in death on May 21, 2005. Lorraine was a faithful member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and a member of it’s Ladies Aid and Alter Guild. She was a good cook and excellent pie maker. She canned many jars of fruits,  vegetables and even meat.

Survivors include her children: Larry (Joanne) Reifschneider, Sharon Martin and Daniel (Cathy) Reifschneider; grandchildren; Emelee (Brian) Rajzer, Suze (Derrick) Miller, Tim (Kathryn) Martin, Julie (Nathan) Turner, Mary (Len) Amat, Shawn (Chris) Martin, Will (Catherine) Reifschneider, and Allison Reifschneider;  and 14 great grandchildren; sisters: Donna Mach and Shirley (Larry) Eber; sisters-in-law: Patricia Ott and Connie Ott and many nieces and nephews.

Lorraine was also preceded in death by a great grandson: Gabriel Rajzer; brothers; Leslie, Herbert, Ervin, Raymond and Norman Ott and sisters: Adeline Hasse and Mabel Schmaltz.
