Lois Mae Patzer, 77, of Bridgman passed on to dwell in the place prepared for her in the Kingdom of God on Friday, March 11, 2011.
A Committal Service will be held 1 PM Saturday, May 14, at Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman.
Lois, who recently resided at Meadowview Gardens in Berrien Springs, resided most of her life in the Stevensville area before moving to Bridgman. She was the loving caring wife for over fifty years to Albert Patzer, who preceeded her in death.
Lois will truly be missed by her five children; Susan (Evan) Hicks of California, Stephen (Amy) Patzer of North Carolina, Scott (Rhonda) Patzer of Niles, MI, Shawn (Sandy) Patzer of Coloma, MI, and Sharla Williams of Florida.
She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and her loving sister Judy (Bill) Marquardt.,
Lois enjoyed many childhood friends throughout the years by staying active in many Benton Harbor class reunion events. It was often said Lois could always brighten up whatever was going on. The most important thing to Lois though, was over 23 years spent as a bus driver for Lakeshore Schools. Over those years, many a child’s life was brightened as she never missed a holiday to give all her kids treats.
Lois was such a fun, sharing person. She will always be remembered and missed by all. Cremation has taken place and a graveside memorial will be scheduled at a later date.
