Linda L. Gedeon-Kuhn

Linda Louise Gedeon-Kuhn, of Bridgman, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at the age of 75. A wife, mother, grandmother, and active member of her community, Linda’s contributions and presence will be remembered by all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held at Graceland Cemetery in Bridgman on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, a scholarship is being established in her honor. Checks should be made payable to Bridgman Public Schools and mailed to Bridgman Public Schools, 9964 Gast Road, Bridgman, MI 49106.

Born on March 27, 1949 to Dennis and Harriet (Mihills) Gedeon in Muskegon, MI. Linda was part of a wide-reaching family whom she cherished. So many stories from so many aunts, uncles, and cousins brought great laughter at every family event. Linda spent most of her adult life in Bridgman, where she made a significant impact. She married Gerald Kuhn on April 19, 1975, and together they raised three sons - Andrew, Brady, and Corey (wife Katie). Linda was also a proud grandmother to Libby, Ellie, and Jack, who brought her great joy. 

Linda had a special place in her heart for children, and for years she ran a daycare, caring for and nurturing countless young lives from the community. She was deeply committed to Bridgman Public Schools, contributing thousands of hours to support the students and the school. She was affectionately known as “Mom” or “Grandma Linda” to many families in town. 

A longtime advocate for her town, Linda served on several local and state government boards. Whether watering flowers downtown, volunteering at a school fundraiser, traveling for the Michigan Municipal League or organizing local events, Linda was always looking for ways to help make Bridgman a better place.

Linda will be remembered for her strength, her kindness, and her love for her family and community. Some of her most cherished memories include taking the daycare children for ice cream or to the beach to skip rocks in her signature van, supporting her children at football, soccer, and basketball games, or catching up with a friend at Weko Beach just before taps was played at sunset. 

Linda was preceded in death by her son, Andrew, in 2022. 

Linda’s memory will live on in the hearts of all those she touched.
