BARODA - Leo Robert Rennhack, 95, of Baroda passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday, May 2 at Zion United Church of Christ, Baroda with Rev. Christopher Noffke officiating. Burial will be in Ruggles Cemetery, Baroda. Friends may meet with the family on Saturday from 2-5 PM at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman. Mr. Rennhack was born April 23, 1915 in Baroda the son of the late Robert and Louise (Nitz) Rennhack. On October 12, 1941 he married the former Dorothy Geike and they enjoyed 68 years working together on their family farm. The farm became a Centennial Farm in 2008. Leo was a charter member of the Baroda Lions Club and a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Baroda, where he sang in the choir for 67 years. Leo served on the Baroda Twp. Board and enjoyed being active in his church, school and community.
Leo is survived by his wife, Dorothy; five children – Karen (Bill) Walters of Normal, Illinois, Coreen (Tim) Dargus of Buchanan, Kay (Tom) Wilcox of Sawyer, Mark (Wendy) Rennhack of Burlington, North Carolina, and David (Joann) Rennhack of Hart, Michigan; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and three expected great grandchildren.
Leo was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
