Lawrence Woerdehoff

Lawrence Leo Woerdehoff, 83, of Buchanan, passed away peacefully at his home on March 3, 2022.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 5760 Sawyer Road, Sawyer, MI 49125, with Father Basker Lopez, officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 9:30 -10:30 AM at the church, prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Agnes Catholic Church. Larry was born on December 27, 1938 in Carroll, IA, the son of the late Clayton and Regina (Terlisner) Woerdehoff. On April 23, 1960 he married Mary Higgins and they shared 61 years together. Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, and wood working. He also enjoyed traveling and has traveled to all 50 states.

Survivors include his wife: Mary; children: Steven (Lori) Woerdehoff and Craig (Jamie) Woerdehoff; grandchildren: Jake (Stephanie) Russell, Abbey Russell, Sammantha Pagels, Jillian (Brennen) Boone, Kiersten Burns; great grandchildren: Adalyn Russell and Ryder Russell; siblings: Jim Woerdehoff, Tom Woerdehoff, Don Woerdehoff, and Lois Brincks.

Larry is also preceded in death by his daughter: Kathleen Weakley; and siblings: Mary Vocke and Sharon Woerdehoff.

Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
