Laura Mary Bross

Laura Mary Bross, 88, of Bridgman passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at A Place Called Home, Stevensville.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Stevensville United Methodist Church, 5506 Ridge Road, Stevensville, with Rev. Elise Low Edwardson officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 10 – 11 AM on Monday at the church, prior to the service. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Laura was born March 20, 1936 in Indiana the daughter of Floyd and Emily (Agnew) Field. On November 9, 1957 she married Charles Bross and he preceded her in death on February 22, 2018. She was employed at Pemco Die Casting for 27 years, retiring in 2002. Laura enjoyed knitting. She was also active at Stevensville United Methodist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir.

Survivors include a son, Kelvin (Tracy) Bross; three daughters: Janice Bross, Darla Bross and Brenda (David) Abbott; four grandchildren: Justin, Levi, Alexis and Olivia; a great grandson, Liam; and a sister, Beatrice (William) Murphy. 

Laura was also preceded in death by an infant son, Michael; father, Floyd Field; mother, Emily Shumaker; and two brothers: Gene and Robert Field.

Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
