Larry Hidy

Larry Ernest Hidy, 52, of Berrien Springs passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at his home.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman with Reverend Duane Anderson officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 10 - 11 AM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman.

Larry was born May 3, 1963 in St. Joseph, Michigan, the son of the late Ernest W. and Dorcas L. (Hendrix) Hidy. Larry served in the US Army National Guard. He worked at Sandvik in Benton Harbor.

Survivors include his sister - Dixie (Dan) Vander Ploeg of Schoolcraft, MI; nephews: Luke and Caleb Vander Ploeg; nieces: Rachel and Esther Vander Ploeg.

Larry was also preceded by an infant sister - Joy Lynn Hidy.
