Larry Eber

Larry Lamar Eber, 84, of Baroda went to be with his Lord and Savior on the morning of Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Spectrum Health Lakeland, St. Joseph.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, March 1, 2021 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 9650 Church Street, Bridgman with Reverend Edward Meyer, officiating. Friends may meet with the family at the church prior to the service from 10-11AM. Larry was born January 29, 1937 in Coloma, the son of the late Jonathan and Catherine (Smith) Eber. On October 25, 1958, he married Shirley Ann Ott and they shared 62 years together. Larry retired from DC Cook Nuclear Power Plant in 1996. He enjoyed woodworking, mechanics, building and working with his hands. Larry and Shirley spent many years traveling and were faithful members of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife: Shirley; children: Pamela (Michael) Hoover, Loretta “Lori” (Brian) Nitz and Gregory Eber; grandchildren: Ashley (Jason) White, Brandon (Kala) Hoover, Kevin (Erin) Nitz, Zach (Chelsie) Nitz, Caleb (Kristen) Nitz, Mollie Nitz and Sarah Brow; 12 great grandchildren.

Larry was also preceded by his granddaughter:  Kara Hoover, grandson: Benjamin Eber, and brothers, Donald and Jonathan Eber.
